To help address the skills gap facing the construction industry, the Government has launched a programme of Skills Bootcamps.
Skills Bootcamps offer free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for adults aged 19 or over and who are either in work, self-employed, recently unemployed or returning to work after a break. They give people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with a local employer.

There are 3 courses available:
Skills Bootcamp in Digital Construction
This Skills Bootcamp is equally suited to those with little or no knowledge and experience in the construction sector, as it is to those with experience working in the sector and wishing to add digital skills to their existing expertise. This bootcamp makes an ideal pre-cursor to anyone taking up an apprenticeship; to graduates wanting to top up their knowledge before starting work; to employees wanting to understand digital information management and BIM tools.
